I’m into my second full week of living healthy, and I’m feeling good.
I wish I could say the exercise bike it assembled, but it’s not. I’ve been busy with work, and it’s a two-person job. I live alone, and my fur babies aren’t helpful. 😉 I am excited that the scales show I’m dropping weight.
My go-to drink to stay hydrated is Amped Hydrate. It gives me the nutrients I need to replenish, but it does much more. I’ve included an image with the ingredient list so you can see what’s in this amazing drink. I drink it throughout the day, and it’s also good for the entire family.
This past week, I’ve had my usual coffee with creamer and coconut sugar. I’m also going to try Swerve and will let you know how it tastes. I can’t stand any sweetener that has any kind of aftertaste. I heard good things about Swerve, so we will see how it goes. I’ve drank a lot of the lemon-lime Amped Hydrate (several a day) and have been doing my fave mixture of Amped Power (cherry berry), Fruits, and Cleanse for Life (peach mango) once a day. If I get hungry, I eat a small snack (usually a jerky stick and stick of cheddar cheese), an IsaLean® Bar (chocolate decadence and chocolate coconut almond are my faves), or a square of IsaDelight (chocolate, caramel, and seat salt).
I pretty much eat what I want, but I have modest portions and do not get seconds. Interestingly, though, I’ve yet to finish a full meal. I am getting full faster! Over the past week, when I’m not eating the jerky and cheese or a meal replacement shake, I’ve had a steak dinner, ribs on the grill, a bowl of soup, and today I had a Newk’s club sandwich from with a side of fruit instead of chips. I ordered a Newk’s ultimate salad for tomorrow.

More progress! When I hopped on the scales, I was nervous. The first weigh-in showed about 2 pounds lost, so I was expecting about the same. When I saw 188.2, I weighed again—three times!
